Overview: Manna House Day Nursery is a nurturing and dynamic early childhood education center dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Founded as a cornerstone initiative by Tamworth Elim Church, our nursery has been fostering growth and development in young children since 1994, building strong foundations for lifelong learning and community engagement.
Facilities: Our purpose-built facility is designed with children’s needs in mind. We offer bright, spacious classrooms filled with age-appropriate toys, books, and learning materials that encourage exploration and creativity. The nursery includes a secure outdoor play area with climbing structures, sandpits, and a garden where children can enjoy fresh air and physical activity. Our sensory room provides a calming space for children to relax and explore different textures, sounds, and lights.
Curriculum: At Manna House Day Nursery, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring a balanced approach to early education that promotes all areas of development: personal, social, and emotional; physical; communication and language; literacy; mathematics; understanding the world; and expressive arts and design. Our experienced staff create individualized learning plans tailored to each child’s interests and developmental stage, fostering a love of learning from an early age.
Programs: We offer a range of programs to suit the diverse needs of families:
- Full-Day Care: Comprehensive care from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, including nutritious meals and snacks.
- Half-Day Sessions: Flexible morning or afternoon sessions.
- Part-Time Options: Customized schedules to accommodate parents’ varying work commitments.
Staff: Our team of dedicated and qualified professionals are passionate about early childhood education. All staff members are DBS-checked and undergo continuous training to stay updated with the latest educational practices and safety standards. We maintain a low child-to-staff ratio to ensure personalized attention and care for each child.
Community and Parental Involvement: We believe in the power of community and actively encourage parental involvement. Regular parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and family events help strengthen the partnership between home and nursery.
