Latest Campaign: More Than Food Hardship Fund

Since its inception, the More Than Food project has sought to journey alongside those in need, providing them with routes out of poverty. We have done this by offering access to advice, support with benefit applications, debt relief, and various other funds. However, from time to time, we encounter specific needs for which there is no obvious route for support.

For example:

A family of four who were all sharing one bed.

A homeless person whose tent was destroyed.

A young parent who had no cot, buggy, or baby supplies.

A person with a job interview and nothing to wear.

In the past, many of these needs have been addressed by the generous donations of members of Tamworth Elim Church and our Volunteer Team. However, to ensure that we can continue to help those in need, we would like to create a Hardship Fund. The Hardship Fund would be used at the discretion of the Community Chaplains to make one-off purchases that meet the immediate needs of the individuals and families we support.

If you would like to make a donation towards our Hardship Fund, however small, you can do so using the button below.
