Over the years the Manna House Charity has impacted the lives of thousands of people in this town. Sometimes by simply providing a warm space and a listening ear, other times by meeting people at a point of crisis and helping them find a way back to normality. It’s not the easiest thing to visit a food bank admitting you need help to feed your family and they go out of their way to make you feel at ease and show such compassion and kindness. A lovely gentleman whose first day it was today volunteering took the time to come over and chat with me, that meant a lot. Amazing people, you should be so very proud.
